Two days ago was one of my favorite days in a year. The day of the summer solstice. When the Sun reaches its highest position in the sky as seen from the north pole or in the northern hempshere. On this day we have the longest period of daylight, meaning the longest day in the year. The word solstice is derived from the Latin words sol (sun) and sister (to stand still). Dont you just love how the light and the sunshine shines until 9 or 10 pm!? So breathtaking.
To celebrate the summer I decided to spend the day in my favorite little island Formentera and looked at the sunset from charming Ibiza town. In the next post I will share with you my outfit for the day and the cute sailing bikinis I just added to my wardrobe.
But for now, here is my casual spanish look for celebration of the longest day in the year.
