Milan can be very hectic! Running from one show to another.. Not even having time to eat 🙂 But the important thing is I saw most of the shows. Including Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Trussardi, Missoni, Ermano Scervino, Moschino, Richmond, Tods, Hogan..
Every single one of the shows was just incredible. I filmed most of the defiles so I can share them with you, and you can see the whole collections by yourself. Just click on the IMG sign and the video will open.
FENDI was the first show I attended. Straight from the airport. Didn’t want to risk the chance to miss it, so I went directly, without changing my clothes. And it was still amazing, even tho I wish I could wear something nicer. The show was really powerful, and probably my favorite part were the shoes. Not to say that the dresses weren’t nice 🙂
MOSCHINO was for sure the most original and fun, kind of a bit crazy, but a show you want to be at. Starting with the carwash and road workers, finishing with the dresses of princesses and heroines from the known fairytale stories.
VERSACE, in my opinion, had the best venue and music. So incrdible, inspiring and powerful.
ROBERTO CAVALLIÂ introduced the new young designer, what made everyone really excited before the show – to see what he came out with. The energy at the venue was incredible. And the fact that I was sitting next to Carine Roitfeld probably makes it to be my favorite show from this years Milan fw.
I was really pleasantly surprised with the collection of ERMANNO SCERVINO. I always loved their clothing, but have to say that they did a really great job this year.
Simple and classical TRUSSARDIÂ also this year presented easy to wear clothing, simple with a nice mixture of fabrics. Linen dresses, flowing, perfect for the summer. And very cool shoes. Probably it was one of my favorite shows. Simple and chic.
MISSONI had some pieces that were absolutely stunning!! Look down in the video, and see if you find the ones I mean 🙂 Also love how they matched the dresses with Missoni Converse, that made the whole look even more stand out.
RICHMOND and TODSÂ were the shows I attended, but got there a bit too late, so only saw half of them. And unfortunately cant share the videos with you, but they were both quite glamorous.
XOXO, MM
