I just arrived to Greece again, which got me waking up my memories from 3 weeks ago when I went to visit Blue Palace in Crete.
I am a huge fan of the country and its islands in general, so I was more then happy to accept the invitation and check out the new shop of the amazing designer Melissa Odabash. Which has opened inside of the hotel resort Blue Palace.
I started the journey with completely empty expectations, and it ended up being way better I could ever expect. Especially I was a bit skeptical as the trip was finishing on my birthday, but to tell you the truth now, I am happy to have spend it there.
On the first day we landed really late (or early depends how you see it) and had the most amazing ride organized to take us to Blue Palace. It was around 3-4am by the time we got to the hotel, and I have to say I was still impressed that it actually looks like a real palace, even tho I was half asleep. My nicest surprise was when I arrived to the room – I had my own little swimming pool! Well, not even that little!! :)))
Really happy to be at the place I finally went to get some rest and really enjoyed all the following days. The plan was really relaxed – swimming, lunch, free time and sun tanning at the Haven, and dinner. Haha who would complain. My fav part of the day every day was lunch, that we normally had at the new Isola beach club. Right next to the Melissa Odabash store, which just opened, and already started being sold out of the products I wanted!! Haha I was a bit sad, but actually really happy at the same time – for Melissa.
I was honored to be able to personally meet Melissa and her daughter, and spend two days together. We had a really lovely and yummy dinner on the first night, which will always stay in my special memory.
The stuff during the whole stay was 12 out of 10, as well as the food at all the places. They really took good care of us and even treated us with a massage, which was exactly what I needed that day. I normally like my massages to be strong, but they managed to get me asleep, so well done haha I think I needed some rest!
One of my favorite parts was also a tour to an island next door called Spinalonga, which used to be an island where they took people with Leprosy or in other words known as a leper colony.
I almost fell asleep as we decided to do it early morning, but I am still so happy I managed to get my booty up. We did the most incredible pictures there, and couldn’t be more satisfied with the overall tour. Followed by the lovely wine tastening on the boat, while cruising around the island.
Really a holiday that will always stay at a special place in my memories! Thanks to the Blue Palace Resort and Melissa Odabash.
Oh and of course, I almost forgot to say thank you to all my girls on the trip with me – Lorna, Camilla, Reem, Bonnie, and of course our Emma (who put it all together) for organizing me the nicest and unforgettable birthday.
We started off with a fancy dinner and drinks the night before, and continued with breakfast and pool part at my room at 8am! I would normally be a bit upset for waking me up that early, but not as they arrived with breakfast and most amazing vegan cake I ever had! Prepared with soya milk especially for me! Really thank you Blue Palace team and the girls! Love you all!
Oh and finally, thank you Aeagan airlines for bringing us to Greece and back to London. 🙂
Lots of love and cant wait to go visit Blue Palace again! Maybe I should just jump over from Santorini haha, def highly recommend to all of you!
Hope you are having a wonderful holidays and happy weekend
